Linden Woods Village Recognized by U.S. News & World Report
GLADSTONE, Mo — Linden Woods Village was recently recognized for being on the U.S. News & World Report’s 2018–2019 Best Nursing Home list.
Only 20% of the 15,000 evaluated communities earned the award, according to U.S. News. U.S. News states, “the designation of Best Nursing Home is given only to those homes that demonstrate appropriate use of key services and consistent performance in quality measures.” Data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) was used to determine which communities earned the award.
Brian Kelly, editor and chief content officer of U.S. News says, “Finding a nursing home that meets an individual’s specific needs can be overwhelming. The Best Nursing Home ratings are designed to help potential residents and their families navigate this important decision.”
Danytra Hughes, Linden Woods Village’s executive director, is very excited about earning the award for the second straight year. She says, “I would like to thank our team for all of their hard work in upholding our high standards of care for our residents; I am extremely proud of every employee. In 2019 and beyond, we’ll continue to give our residents the best service and care possible.”
